What Is Chest Cancer?

Cancer can happen in the chest divider, bringing pain because of tumors.
Lung cancer is a very common form of chest cancer.
Most lung tumors don't bring about symptoms until they have spread, but there are few people with early lung tumors have symptoms.

The symptoms of chest cancer:
 

  • Weight loss.
  • New onset of wheezing.

  • Trouble swallowing.
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Chest pain with coughing, breathing or laughing.
  • Coughing up blood.


Endobronchial Ultrasound Bronchoscopy (EBUS):

EBUS is used to diagnose lung cancer, and to determine if the diseases causing enlarged lymph nodes in the chest.
It gives constant imaging of the surface of the airways, veins, lungs, and lymph nodes.
It is performed under moderate sedation or general anesthesia.
Patients can usually go home the same day because of quickly recover.
